Finding Gaps in Your World Building
Develop your world building by answering questions about your story
- Reading Time
- approx. 1 min
When you build a world, it’s easy to focus on the big picture and forget about the smaller details that make a world feel lived in and real. This prompt helps you find those gaps in your world building by asking you a series of questions about your story. By answering these questions, you’ll be able to identify areas of your world that need more development and flesh out the details that will make your world feel more complete.
This prompt is written based on the development of a “seed detail” for world building. You can learn more about this technique in our dedicated lesson on world development.
